HKUST Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Fund Programme Award

With total area of around 56,000 km2, total population of over 71 million, and a GDP of over USD 1,680 billion, the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is opening up new opportunities and market for anyone who have an desire for success. From education to business, from technology to cultural developments and so on. As a startup or corporation, the GBA is certainly a location which is fast disrupting the World’s landscape for innovation, trade & logistics, and financial services that one should explore.

 

HKUST Entrepreneurship Center is a partner of the “We Venture” by the Home and Youth Affairs Bureau, in promoting the GBA to youths in Hong Kong SAR. With the great support of the Youth Development Fund, a total of twelve HKUST Startups, co-founded by students, alumni and faculty members, have been awarded each HK$600,000 under the “HKUST Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Fund Programme”.

Remark: The Youth Development Fund encourages and support youth entrepreneurship and facilitate young people to grasp the opportunities brought about by the development of the Greater Bay Area (GBA). The HKUST Greater Bay Area Youth Entrepreneurship Programme aims at providing startup assistance and incubation services that befit the needs of young people who are about to start their businesses in Hong Kong and Mainland GBA cities, including helping them settle in entrepreneurial bases and further helping them meet their initial capital needs.
